Schedule for a Stand-alone Element
Instructions:
Depending on how the element on the canvas is configured, there are a few versions of the Schedules tab:
1. Name
- The name should be descriptive of this specific schedule and/or what task it is accomplishing (e.g. "Pre-webinar-01," "Pre-webinar-02," etc.)
2. Description
- The description can be anything - most often it contains any necessary or relevant information that will be helpful to someone else who may need to work with this element
3. Time Zone, Date and Time
- Specify the Time Zone, Date, and Time
Note:
If a date/time is selected that is in the past, the Scheduled Event will start when the changes are published.
4. Recurrence
- If you would like the event to happen on a recurring basis, click on Repeat
- Select the interval for the Schedule to repeat
- If you do not want the Schedule to repeat indefinitely, click on the Ends tab and select when/how you would like the Schedule to stop repeating.
5. Type
- You can choose to have the event occur for Live contacts, Seed contacts, or Both
6. Notifications and Approval
- An email notification will be sent to the address listed here. By default, it will display the email address associated with this account. You can change it if you wish
- You can be protected from unauthorized or accidental events by requiring that when it is time for the Schedule to occur, an email is sent to request authorization. (Just check the box.)
