MindFire's emails are responsive and they are automatically resized, however, since Outlook ignores the resize commands in HTML, sometimes images may appear to be too big if their original size is larger than the resized email. The best solution is to use an image editor outside of MindFire, resize the image down to the required size, upload this new image to MindFire's Asset Manager and use this new image in the email. MindFire provides help in figuring out how much to resize down the image. Here's how:
Go to MindFire's editor for the email, whichever Blueprint you are using, click on the image as shown in the screenshot above and MindFire will show you the original image size and the size of the resized image. In the example above, you can see that the original image size was 1600x1180, and that MindFire has resized it to 594x438. In Outlook, this image will still show up in the dimension of 1600x1180, whereas in all other editors such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc it will be correctly resized. For the image to appear correctly in Outlook, please create a new version of the image with the dimension of approximately 594x438, keeping the aspect ratio unchanged, and use this new image in the email. That should fix the problem with Outlook.
