05. Default MindFire Smart Lists

These are lists that MindFire automatically creates for you based on events. For example, you can download an account-wide list of unsubscribes or hard-bounces and send direct mails to them. We also have a Guest List, which includes people coming in from a generic URL (without the PURL, e.g. by clicking on the link on a Facebook post) and submitting their information and a Friends List (people getting added via Send-to-Friend forms.)

Here’re details on each one.

• Everyone: This includes your entire contact database

• My Seed List: This is a list of your seed users. You should use this list for testing.

• Unsubscribes: This is a list of everyone in your account that has unsubscribed from your emails at one time or another. You can no longer email to them, but you can download this list and send them Direct Mail. assuming you have their mailing address.

• Hard Bounces: This is a list of people whose email addresses are invalid. Once again, you cannot email them, but you can download this list and send them Direct Mail. assuming you have their mailing address.

• Soft Bounces: This is a list of people whose email addresses we temporarily unavailable to receive emails. The system will attempt to deliver emails to them in the future again. However, you are able to download this list now and reach out to these people using other means of communication.

• Friends: This list includes everyone who has been added by referrals from your contacts. You can see the referrer information here by adding the referrer email and referrer PURL columns in the display or download. In order to do so, please select the “Change my columns” menu option from the setup menu above the list display (top right side - see screenshot below) and then by dragging the "referreremail" and "referrerPURL" fields to the right-hand side. Then click on SAVE to display the results. You can also download the results by selecting the Download menu option, as shown below:
  

• Guests: This is a list of everyone else that does not exist in any of your lists. This is particularly useful with the Facebook Post feature now. If someone clicks on the Facebook Post, they will come to your landing page, but will not have access to a PURL. If the person fills up the form and submits the page, their information will show up in the list called Guests for you to use for communications.

• Opens and Clicks: This is a section where MindFire automatically segments people that have opened or clicked on your emails. There will be one SmartList created for all the opens and clicks across all of your emails, and then one SmartList each for every one of your Drive Traffic and Build Awareness campaigns. People opening the automated email responses from the Captured Lead campaigns are not included in these lists. You can use these lists just like a regular list in any future campaigns, or download them with PURLs for printing Direct Mail, or to import into an external system etc. Please see the screenshot below for an example. Individual contact information in the screenshot below has been blocked to protect the privacy of our customers and prospects.

• Leads: This is a section where MindFire automatically segments people that have submitted a form from your landing pages in the Capture Leads campaigns that you created in your account. There will be one SmartList created for all the form submits across all of your campaigns, and then one SmartList each for every one of your Capture Leads campaigns.
