01. Introduction to MindFire's Social Selling Assistant

In this article, we will discuss the strategy behind using MindFire's Social Selling Assistant. MindFire's OptiChannel process leverages heavily a social selling strategy that enables you to expand your social media outreach through LinkedIn. In a traditional Marketing Automation system, you are able to take your prospects from the top of the funnel and convert them into what we call "marketing qualified leads" through a series of automated activities. A common question is, where do I find these people to be added to my top of the funnel? That is exactly the problem that the Social Selling Assistant solves for you - allows you to find people in your target market and bridges what we call the "Above the Funnel GAP", as illustrated in the diagram below.

The purpose of MindFire's Social Selling Assistant is to mechanize these activities as much as possible and help you connect with and add new prospects to the Top of your Funnel. It will search for and run through your list of people, companies, and hashtags, follow them for you, like recent articles, and do the initial legwork for you in connecting to these individuals.
