How to Add New Users and Modify the Content of the Welcome Email to be sent to a New User:
You can update this in the Settings Section.
Go to Settings | Users as shown in the screenshot below.
Once you are on the user screen, click on the drop-down next to the gearbox icon at the top right, as shown in the screenshot above. A menu will appear, showing all of your available options, as shown in the screenshot above.
Please note the “Sync All Users” button at the top left, which can be clicked anytime to synchronize users entered directly in the legacy WFD user interface, aka Studio.
Let us now discuss the various options available.
Change Password will open the following dialogue, and allow the users to update their password, after typing their existing password for validation, as shown below.
Add a User will show the following dialogue and will allow a new user to be added. The screenshot below shows the various attributes of the user, including an image, that can be provided.
The next three menu options will allow customization of the Welcome email that gets sent when a new user is added.
Edit the Content of the Welcome Email pulls up the following editor screen and we can edit the HTML of the welcome email here and change the content as needed.
Edit the Subject of the Welcome email will allow you to modify the subject line for the Welcome email that gets sent to a new user.
Edit the from name and address of the Welcome email allows you to edit the information about who the Welcome emails get sent from. The default is always MindFire, but this allows you to customize the sender information as needed.
If you are logged into a sub-account as opposed to the main parent account of a client, you will see a sixth option called Pull All Welcome Email Settings from the Parent Account, as shown in the screenshot below:
Choosing this option will always pull the Welcome Email content, subject and sender information from the parent account. This is very useful for a client who wants to update the Welcome Email setting for all of their sub-accounts.
