01. How to add your Domain to MindFire

Step 1: Add a CNAME Record for your Domain

Visit your URL's DNS Zones
You will add 2 CNAME Records for your domain. Both of them will be pointed to "msp.mdl.io".
- The first record will be a "www" record.
- The second record will be a star (*) record. This will be used for your purls (if applicable).
The next step will be forwarding your domain.
- Make sure to forward the domain to "www.(yourdomain)". Click save when you're finished.
  - The above example is forwarded to "www.davincitutorial.com".

For Godaddy Users, PLEASE NOTE:

Godaddy will not forward any sub-folder to www, consequently, you should also not use your PURL in the sub-folder position without declaring WWW in the URL.

Unaccepted format(s):

yourdomain.com/##purl##

Accepted format(s)

www.yourdomain.com/##purl##
##purl##.yourdomain.com

Step 2: Add your domain to MindFire

Select the Landing Page Settings inside the "Set Up Your Landing Page" Tab.
Type in your in the box next to "Landing Page Domain".
If you follow the instructions in Step 1 correctly, the domain will appear in the preview labeled "How Your URL Looks Now". Otherwise, it will give you an error next to your domain that says "Not Ready".
