     ➤ This field must be:

    • dedupe field in Studio

    • Included in the PURL generation field (only needed if you plan to add inbound contacts)

Only one 10DLC / Toll-Free number per sub-account
? Each program uses its own unique keyword

Step 2: Set Up SMS in Studio

Replies:

  • User texts APT ➝ "Hi! Reply with 'YES' to double opt-in."

  • User replies with email ➝ "Thanks for double opting in."

Step 3: Download Program

Step 4: Configure Studio

In the Bulk Message:

  • Add a test phone number filter (for internal testing)

  • Enter your message content and keyword(choose any keyword which is unique per program and account)

Then:

  • Apply TA filters for targeting

  • Configure trigger messages

In the Events tab (of the Bulk SMS element):

  • Contact Replied to the Message

Step 5: Test & Register Keyword

  • Send the bulk SMS to a sample contact by adding the schedule
➤ This registers the keyword to Studio and enables inbound SMS

If the contact already exists:

  • ➤ Their reply is saved in the configured fields

If it's a new contact:

  • ➤ They are automatically added to Studio, and their reply is saved
